“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with Your guiding Spirit.” (Ps. 50:14)
St. Nicholas organizes a weekly Sunday School for Pre-K to High School, taught by knowledgable volunteers of the church. The teachers work with the guidance of the Very Rev. Fr. George Baalbaki and the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America, under the care of our dearly beloved Metropolitan SABA, Archbishop of New York and Metropolitan of all of North America.
The Antiochian Orthodox Department of Christian Education or (AODCE) uses materials developed by the pan-Orthodox Orthodox Christian Education Commission (OCEC) and other published sources.
Christian Education begins every Sunday following Communion at 12:10, unless otherwise rescheduled or cancelled due to specific church services.
The Sunday School Director is a chair holder on the Parish Council in St. Nicholas Church with the primary role to represent the needs of Sunday School students of all ages.
If you’d like to contribute to the Sunday School program as a teacher or through financial, material or other donations, please speak with Fr. George.
